With the resurgence of COVID-19 in some states and a very uncertain remainder of 2020, we have decided to make this years conference virtual.  Nearly everyone who responded to our survey told us that travel and training was restricted in some form.  We know it isn't ideal, but we're going to make the best of it.  We have purchased a platform called CrowdCompass by Cvent that will act as our lobby for the conference.  Registrants will find everything they need here including the full session schedule, access to the presenters and sponsors and it all integrates with Zoom, which we will be using for broadcasting all sessions.  We even have a game to play with daily prizes and leading to a big prize to make it interesting and a SocialWall to share things with other participants. The good news is that this opens up ALOT of possibilities for us, not only for this year, but going forward as well.  We are investing in some solutions that should allow us to make future conferences accessible to those who wish to attend but who are unable to commit to the travel.

This years virtual conference will be held November 2nd through November 6th.  We are trying to be accommodating with session times so both coasts can participate LIVE, but if something comes up, don't worry as all sessions are being recorded and will be available for 30 days after the conference to all registrants.  As with last year, Monday will be a dedicated day of virtual training from Hexagon and we are working to line up a virtual lab enviroment to make it hands on.  There will be a small fee for this training.

The rest of the week will have our normal sessions, spaced out a bit as we know you will all still have your regular jobs to do.  A schedule will come out once we have more sessions locked down but we are already working with Hexagon on a large contingent of training sessions.  We plan on having most of the usual sessions like Quiz the Wizards (CAD, RMS and GIS), SysAdmin classes for CAD, RMS and MPS, moderated roundtable discussions, GIS MapRoll along with sessions on new products like OnCall Dispatch, Records and Analytics.  We hope to also add new sessions for End users, Administrative Staff and Project Managers.  We've also got at two agencies in the process of upgrading to OnCall Dispatch so that will provide some valuable insight for those looking to move that direction soon.

We are looking for user presentations, so if you have an idea for a session or would be interested in running a session, please email the board at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  We are open to pre-recorded sessions along with live sessions so if standing up in front of a room full of people wasn't your deal, this is your opportunity!  You can pre-record your session as you see fit and we'll broadcast it during the conference.  Presenters get free access to all sessions during and after the conference.

Individual Registration - $150
Agency Registration - $500 -
Group admission up to 10 people

Details and registration links will be posted on our website later this week.

In our last email, we announced that we had chosen the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina as our conference location.  We are still planning to go to this amazing hotel, but we have adjusted our contract and they will be hosting our 5th annual conference in 2021.

Thank you all for everything you've done during this trying time and thank you for hanging in there with us as we try to sort through this process.  We want to bring you the best possible conference.  We hope to see you in November!
